To import only some of the photos, select those photos, then click Import. From the Import To pop-up menu, choose where to save the images or which app to use to open the image.Use the buttons at the bottom of the Image Capture window to view the thumbnails as a list or as icons to change the size of the thumbnails, or to rotate or delete images. In Image Capture, select the device in the Devices list.If the device is locked with a passcode, enter it. Connect your device to your computer, then turn the device on.Once you transfer the items, you can delete them from the device. Transfer images, video clips, and MP3 sounds to your computer from many cameras and devices that contain a camera, such as your iPhone. However you might also be able to import by using a built-in application on your Mac called Image Capture. After taking a look at the user manual for the HF20, it seems like some software called 'PIXELA ImageMixer 3 SE' can be used to save video scenes to your computer's hard disk (see page 121 of the user manual linked below): I see you have a Canon Vixia HF20 camcorder, and you're trying to import video footage to your Mac. Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
